Six events. Sixteen days. One week the West Coast air-cooled scene plans its whole year around.
Ask any West Coast air-cooled enthusiast what June looks like and you'll get the same answer with a grin: the calendar belongs to Volkswagens. From the first Friday of the month to the third weekend, Southern California turns into a rolling caravan of Bugs, Buses, Type 3s, and everything in between — cruise nights, swap meets, full-blown shows, and a five-day desert campout that has become legend. We're calling it SoCal HotVWs Week, and for the West Coast scene there is no bigger stretch on the calendar. Whether you're bringing a freshly finished build to The VW Revival, daily-driving your bus to OCTO, or just chasing taillights between events, this is the year's pilgrimage. Block off June. Pack the cooler. Bring a friend who hasn't caught the bug yet.
